Each pedal works on its own. You can press them together or work one side and then the other, depending on the exercise. This freedom lets you vary your support throughout the session, without changing equipment.

This independence is also handy when you are getting to know the chair: start with a simple support, then combine both pedals once the movement feels familiar. The chair thus becomes a natural complement to the reformer for enriching your sequences.

Four springs to set the resistance

The four springs are used to vary the resistance of the pedals. Change the setting between sequences to adapt the effort to the exercise and progress your practice from one session to the next.

During your first sessions, take the time to explore each setting and note the ones that suit your usual exercises. This way you will find your bearings more quickly from one session to the next.

A compact Pilates chair for home or studio

At 76 × 75 × 61 cm, the chair takes up much less floor space than a reformer. It fits into a corner of the room, near a window or next to other machines. Simply keep some clearance around it to get into position and move freely.

Its net weight of 30 kg should be taken into account when choosing its location and planning how to move it. Also check access to the room before delivery.
