Adjustable Ladder Barrel

The Adjustable Ladder Barrel combines a curved support and a ladder in a single piece of equipment. The distance between the two can be adjusted to adapt the set-up to each exercise.

The curved part, the barrel, offers a padded support around which the exercises are built. Opposite it, the ladder and its oak rungs provide additional points of support. Together, they open up a different way of practising from the reformer or the mat.

The high-density foam padding is covered in PU faux leather. The model comes in black, understated in a living space as well as in a studio. It works equally well with a light wooden floor or a darker one, and keeps the oak of the frame in the foreground.

The barrel slides along a rail to move closer to or further from the ladder. You adapt the gap to the planned exercise, then change it for the next sequence. A single piece of equipment thus supports different positions.

Make a note of the settings you use most often: you will find your bearings from one session to the next and move more quickly from one exercise to another.

Before you start, keep a clear space around the supports: you need to be able to get into position on each side and move around freely. The Ladder Barrel is used on a flat, stable surface.

The Ladder Barrel in your studio or at home

In a studio, the Ladder Barrel complements a reformer and a split-pedal Pilates chair, offering a third type of support. At home, it is set up in a dedicated room and adds another dimension to your practice. Choose its location according to the exercises: you need to be able to reach both the barrel and the ladder.
