Reformer Handles – Pair

Pilates Douceur reformer handles are sold as a pair and attach to the end of the rope. They support arm work on the machine and replace worn grips.

Reformer handles: a pair for arm work

On a reformer, the handles are held at the end of the rope to push or pull against the resistance of the springs. With two identical handles, you equip the left and right sides in a single order. The set of 2 costs €29.95.

When the original grips are worn, replacing them is enough to restore clean grip points without changing the rest of your equipment. They are intended for people who already practise on a reformer and want to renew their grips.

Reformer handle compatibility: check your set-up

Compatibility is not guaranteed: the fitting at the end of the rope varies from one reformer to another. Before ordering, check:

• the shape of the attachment at the end of your ropes;
• how your current handles are hooked onto it;
• the diameter of your ropes, if you are also planning to replace them;
• the brand and exact model reference of your reformer.

Replacing your reformer handles: the method

Photograph the set-up before unhooking the old handles. Work with the carriage at rest, remove one handle, fit the new one to the end of the same rope, then do the same on the other side. Check that every fitting is properly in place before resuming your sessions.

Handles, ropes and straps: renewing your reformer accessories
