Folding Reformers

Our foldable Pilates reformers let you set up a practice area in a room that keeps its other uses. Compare three formats: wood, aluminium and compact. Start with the open and folded dimensions, then check the settings and accessories of each model.

Which folding reformer should you choose?

The wooden folding reformer has a solid maple frame and measures 140 × 60 × 46 cm once folded. The aluminium folding model measures 136 × 74 × 50 cm folded. The compact reformer takes up 105 × 55 × 24 cm folded. Compare these measurements with your storage spot: they do not reflect the space needed during a session.

Planning storage and handling

Measure the area where you will practise and the area where you will store the reformer separately. A folded machine can take up less floor space without becoming light to move. The weight, door openings and folding method matter as much as the storage size. Read the model’s instructions before planning to move it every day.

If the machine stays permanently in a dedicated room, also compare the fixed studio reformers. Folding meets a storage need; on its own, it does not decide the quality or the exercise possibilities.

Deciding between two models

Look at the resistance settings, the dimensions of the practice area and the list of included accessories. Our guide to choosing a reformer helps you organise this comparison. If you are unsure about the space available, send us your room’s dimensions and the models you are interested in.
